St. Louis County Apprenticeship and Career Pathways Showcase
Special School District is proud to co-host the 5th annual St. Louis County Apprenticeship and Career Pathways Showcase with the Affton, Pattonville, and Lindbergh school districts. Families and students in grades 6 through 12, as well as recent graduates, are invited to these FREE events to experience a variety of careers through interactive exhibits and discussions with industry professionals. There is no need to register for these events.
Sponsored by American Welding School, the showcases will connect attendees to exciting and fulfilling job opportunities, many requiring training instead of a traditional 4-year degree. Regional employers seeking young talent will be ready to share information and guidance about career pathways, including healthcare, advanced manufacturing, construction, information technology, and public safety. Some industries will offer hands-on activities and opportunities to work with equipment to ensure students enjoy an immersive experience.
Events are planned for the following dates and locations:
- Saturday, February 28, 10 AM to 1 PM, North Tech High School
